FEATURING SHAR BABY, STEVE PAYNE & SPECIAL GUESTS
(Tickets £10 from village hall bar or 07946 378599)

Shar Baby hails from Birmingham, Alabama and although she's been playing for over 40 years, only recently began to record. This brought her to the attention of a wider audience, including Steve Payne who has brought her over here for her first UK tour. Her style has been described as country blues via Chicago and can be seen and heard on Youtube (search shar baby).

Steve Payne is an outstanding blues guitarist with a distinctive style and an international reputation. As well as work in this country, he has recently toured Germany, Switzerland and Canada to great acclaim. A very entertaining performer who makes a welcome return to the village hall.

Special guests so far include Johnny Hewitt on harp and Russ Williams on double bass (both from Smokehouse Blues), Chris Jackson (harp and guitar, The Crawl) and Peter Price (guitar). Invitations have been extended to others and expect to see more names added soon!

ENTRANCE WILL BE BY TICKET ONLY, WITH NO ENTRY ON THE DOOR. THERE WILL ONLY BE 60 TICKETS AVAILABLE FOR ALL EVENTS.
